Pine Street Recovery’s facilities are designed with your comfort in mind, providing the perfect environment for those transitioning from alcohol rehab or seeking a stable foundation in their recovery.
We understand that after intensive treatment or while in IOP, there's often a need for transitional housing—a place that feels like home while also providing the tools to keep yourself on track. With experience in handling the challenges of newfound sobriety, our team is ready to provide this.
So, if you’ve completed or engaged in a 30, 60, or 90-day treatment but find that you need extended support, our sober housing has its doors open wide for you.
Transitional housing serves as a bridge between intensive treatment or a challenging period in one's life and the return to daily life and routine. The main objective of transitional housing is to assist individuals in regaining independence by providing a supportive environment that reduces the risk of relapse.
Transitional housing offers a stable and safe environment, which is especially crucial for those who may have been previously exposed to harmful situations.
These facilities often provide life-skills training, ranging from financial literacy and job placement to cooking and self-care.
Residents have the opportunity to connect with others who have similar experiences. This sense of camaraderie and mutual understanding can serve as a powerful form of support.
While not as intensive as inpatient treatment, many transitional homes offer life skills to ensure continued mental and emotional well-being.
Having a daily routine and responsibilities, like chores or attending house meetings, helps individuals establish a sense of normalcy and discipline.
While sober living houses foster a sense of independence, there's also an element of accountability, ensuring residents stay on track with their recovery or growth.
Be it healthcare, vocational training, or legal services, transitional housing programs often provide or connect residents to crucial resources.
Unlike temporary shelters, transitional housing often allows individuals to stay for extended periods, typically anywhere from several months to two years, giving them ample time to establish stability. Many of our individuals have lived with us for many years. (you can stay as long as you would like on our month to month lease)
As residents progress, they are encouraged and supported to reintegrate into society—whether that's through securing a job, continuing their education, or fostering healthy relationships.
Before leaving transitional housing, residents usually work with counselors or social workers to create a viable plan for continued success, ensuring they have the tools and resources to thrive independently. We do not provide these services but are happy to connect you to many resources.
